An introductory, toe dip workshop into the offerings of The Brave Women’s Transformation Project that aims to help women embody bravery and increase self confidence through the performing arts, spoken word, and somatic therapy.  

Brave Hearts Speak is a healing workshop for women that will have you laughing out loud, dancing freely, and speaking with more authenticity and confidence.  Through the use of drama therapy techniques, improvisation games, and dance/movement your mind and body will be immersed in play and creativity, in a nurturing environment.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

During each Brave Hearts Speak workshop we will focus upon a theme within womanhood that deserves exploration and can help women to question the social and family constructs they have been presuming to be truth.  You will have the opportunity to explore and question the validity of those beliefs.

During the first hour you will be lead through dance/movement therapy and drama therapy activities that promote your sense of connection to yourself and community.  The second hour participants will engage in creative writing prompts that promote freedom of self expression and voice. Each participant is given an opportunity to deliver a monologue that encourages getting your BRAVE on!
